Space engineers nanite factory mining

I set the mech's controls for 'Factory - Basic' and watched the facility grow from the ground. The delivery system seemed unusual, not like the usual 'grey goo' or 'hovering red laser bats' or 'pocket monster orbs' methods.

The tiny machines in the fluid began eating the trees and dragging stone up from the ground.

My nanite cannon sprayed water at a nearby forest. Unless I was fighting the Jihad faction, in which case things would get bloody. Since the enemy would be using robots too, I didn't even have to kill anybody except the commander himself. Automated production lines would crank out metal warriors to fight a spectacular AI tank battle. Entire factories would spring from the ground at my command. Fortunately this mech had a nanotech construction set. Teleported in, and assigned without explanation to annihilate the enemy commander's army. There I was on a tropical island, in a building-sized mech, in a crater. Thousands of planets, trillions of people, and they had to grab me out of bed and throw me into a giant robot. It means you've been drafted to fight a battle in the Endless War.
